Q: How much is enough?

A: First, figure out how much area you want to cover. Here's a Rule of Thumb: 50 lbs. of Glass Garden recycled glass pebbles cover 5 sq. ft., one inch thick. A ton covers 200 sq. ft.

Q: Is it as simple as it looks?

A: It is if you're just putting glass pebbles around a potted plant.

For pathways or out door gardens, we've found that it's better to put a liner down first-even cutting holes for the plants to poke through-before laying down the pebbles. This will keep them from sinking into the ground over time (as any gravel tends to do), and prevent the mud from seeping up when you water.

Q: What works with glass pebbles?

A: We've found that most if not all succulents not only do well surrounded by glass, but their naturally sculptural qualities are greatly accentuated. Bananas, Bird-of-Paradise, roses--most any hearty plant will only be enhanced by colorful glass accents.
